THE BIG BRUM. This is a fair we would never miss. Admission is free.  It is held in the heart of Birmingham and advertised as 1200 stalls. Most are inside but there are some outside which is nice if the sun is shining. It starts at 7-30 a.m. and you really need to be no later than 8-00. A few hours later and stallholders are starting to pack up. There is usually plenty to find but you must really look hard for the bargains. You will be rewarded.

There are also some evening fairs held at this venue.

There are a number of fairs held regularly at the N.E.C. and the Motor Cycle Museum in Birmingham. Amongst he many held at the N.E.C. are the superb Antiques For Everyone fairs. These fairs are datelined, vetted and the items displayed are stunning. The fairs are divided into two sections with one section datelined later than the other.

There is quite a large fair held at Trentham Gardens, North Staffs'.  It is advertised as being two minutes from junction 15 M6. There are a wide variety of items which includes Militaria.

Himley Hall, South Staffs' is the venue for a fair organised by South Shropshire Fairs. It includes inside, outside marquees and outside pitches.

Ever been to a fair specialising in the decorative arts? if not we recommend you do. The displays can be stunning. There are usually some very desirable items to purchase which will enhance any room. A series of Art Deco of fairs are held at the Hilton National, Warwick on some Sundays.

There are fairs held at the Cheltenham racecourse in Gloucestershire. We know of collectors & bric-a-brac and antique & collectors fairs held at this venue. There is usually a good choice and something to take your fancy.

For collectors of old angling equipment there is an excellent fair held annually. It is centrally located. The National Vintage Fishing Tackle Fair in Redditch, West Midlands, has good motorway access. There is an superb range of vintage tackle to peruse and the usual helpful people this area of collecting attracts. There is only one a year so do not miss it.
